2-4000lb, eight caret jadite carved sea lions. Titled “Touching at the Heart” this was a private commission in Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island. Thematically created emblematic of the love of the purchasers.

Jade cannot be carved. Because of its hardness, it can rarely be shaped by chiseling or chipping but must be worn away by abrasion with tools and hard sand pastes.
